The Sea,
Sometimes blue,
Sometimes green,
Waves crashing to make a sapphire sheen.
The sky up above,
A harmony of colors swirling around,
Fiery orange, soft pink,
Deep blue, and white, puffy clouds.
The sand between your toes,
Warm, dry, and tan,
A sample from underwater is wet, black, and rich in your hands.
The people around you,
Different from their toes to their tresses,
Colorful shirts and shorts,
Fun swimsuits and dresses.
Clothes in shades of yellows, reds, greens, and blues,
Hair of jet-black, brunette, blonde, and red,
Eyes a rainbow of hues.
Skin sun kissed or freckled,
Belongings askew,
The beach has so many colors,
And inside, so do you.
