The primordial king sits obesely
Too ignorant to hear the
Mocking
Birds
Kind old queen
turns to acknowledge their song-
crumples
In the bloated purple
Fingers of a
Beast
Stream of blood
Washes through the kingdom
Engulfs rabbits
And entangles fish
Kingy,
Oh so courteous dictator
Bellows greasy chuckles
At his helpless subjects
His view too myopic
To see the minnows
Dart away.
