FLOWER by Samantha

 Inch by inch I grow and grow until I reach the sky

then my petals open up so big and wide

when the rain comes pouring down i have a great big feast

then fall comes so fast and i know it's time to sleep

but first

my petals fall down down down until they hit the ground

then I see the birds fly away and I know the time has come

so quickly I fall asleep and make no sound.
